Best time to visit Nepal
Nepal's seasons are set by the monsoon. October and November bring the clearest mountain views and the Dashain and Tihar festivals; March to May is the second season, with rhododendrons on the trails and the best wildlife viewing in Chitwan and Bardia, though haze and heat build by May. June to September is wet, with leeches, landslides and frequent Lukla flight cancellations, while December to February is cold but clear, with high passes closed by snow.
