TripBondhu (“we”) provides a WhatsApp-first trip co-pilot for India. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• WhatsApp phone number and message content you send to the bot
• Trip details you provide (destination, dates, budget, preferences)
• Optional media you upload (ticket PDFs, screenshots, emails)
• Consent signals (START / STOP / PAUSE / RESUME / ALLOW)
• Basic usage events (commands used, affiliate link clicks) for reliability and fair-use

How we use data

• Generate and update itineraries
• Power group trip pods and suggestions
• Place leave-by / check-in / pickup calls only for milestones you or a pod admin create
• Send optional morning trip briefs on WhatsApp
• Attribute affiliate bookings when you click partner links

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data
• We do not make marketing, telemarketing, or bulk promo calls
• We do not join existing consumer WhatsApp groups (pods are invite-based only)
• We do not escalate to a pod buddy until that person replies ALLOW

Retention & deletion

You can request deletion anytime via Delete account or email privacy@tripbondhu.com.
