Good to know
- Altitude 3,440 m: plan an acclimatisation day in Namche and ascend slowly; altitude sickness can affect anyone.
- Jun–Sep monsoon cancels many Lukla flights and hides the peaks; Dec–Feb is clear but well below freezing at night.
- Lukla flights are often delayed by weather in any season — keep at least one buffer day.
Nepal itineraries with Namche Bazaar
- Everest view trek: Lukla, Namche Bazaar and Tengboche · 11 days, Kathmandu → Namche Bazaar → Nagarkot · from ₹78,675 per person, base estimate before flights.
