Dubai is the base for most trips, with Sharjah and Hatta as easy day trips. Abu Dhabi adds the Grand Mosque, the Louvre and the Yas Island theme parks, Ras Al Khaimah has Jebel Jais and beach resorts, and Fujairah covers the quieter east coast.
