Things to do in Yeosu
- Yeosu Maritime Cable Car · 1.5 h · about ₹1,200 per person. Crosses the harbour to Dolsan; the crystal (glass-floor) cabin costs more. Ride at dusk.
- Odongdo camellia island walk · 2 h · free. Walk the causeway or take the little road train; camellias flower roughly January–March.
- Yeosu night sea & waterfront pojangmacha · 2.5 h · about ₹1,600 per person. Tent bars line the harbour by Jongpo; seafood plates are made for sharing. Dolsan Bridge lights up across the water.
- Hyangiram hermitage at sunrise · 2 h · about ₹150 per person. Cliffside hermitage on Dolsan's tip, about 50 min by bus or taxi; the climb is steep but short.
- Yeosu harbour night cruise · 1.5 h · about ₹1,300 per person. Cruises leave from near Dolsan Bridge; some include a firework display.
- Aqua Planet Yeosu & Expo Ocean Park · 2.5 h · about ₹2,100 per person. Next to Yeosu Expo station — useful on a rainy afternoon or just before a train.
- Suncheon Bay wetland & National Garden day trip · 6 h · about ₹900 per person. About 40 min by train or bus to Suncheon. Reeds turn gold Oct–Nov; climb to the Yongsan viewpoint for sunset over the wetland.
- Gejang (soy-marinated crab) set meal · 1 h · about ₹1,200 per person. Bongsan-dong's crab restaurants serve refillable side crabs with rice.
Where to stay in Yeosu
- Yeoseo-dong / bus terminal (budget, ₹3,000–₹5,500 a night): Motels near the bus terminal with restaurants around.
- Jongpo harbour / Dolsan Bridge (mid, ₹6,000–₹11,000 a night): Walk to the night-sea waterfront and the cable car.
- Expo / Odongdo waterfront (premium, ₹12,000–₹25,000 a night): Sea-view hotels by Yeosu Expo station and Odongdo; easy KTX departures.
