- Dilwara Jain temples · 2 h · free. Some of India's finest marble carving; non-Jains can enter from about noon to 6pm. No photography, leather or phones — use the lockers.
- Nakki Lake boating and Toad Rock · 2 h · about ₹200 per person
- Sunset Point · 1.5 h · free
- Guru Shikhar, Rajasthan's highest point · 2.5 h · free. At 1,722 m, with a small Dattatreya temple at the top; about 300 steps from the car park.
- Achalgarh Fort and Achaleshwar temple · 1.5 h · free
- Guided Mount Abu sanctuary trek · 3 h · about ₹1,000 per person. Trails in the wildlife sanctuary must be walked with a registered guide; sloth bears live here.
Where to stay in Mount Abu
- Hotels around Nakki Lake and the market (budget, ₹1,500–₹3,500 a night): Walk to the lake, Toad Rock and the food stalls.
- Hillside hotels on the Sunset Point road (mid, ₹4,000–₹8,500 a night): Quieter rooms with valley views, a short drive from the lake.
- Former royal summer palaces (premium, ₹9,000–₹22,000 a night): Old princely retreats with lawns and colonial-era rooms.
